Hopefully everyone had a great week! It always amazes me at the things that happen to lead us to a Topic... So Who is Pushing Your Buttons... Remember Not All Anger is Bad! There are things that happen in the world that should make you Angry: Injustices, Greed, Racism, World Hunger, to name a few. Unfortunately, Anger is often most present with those we Love Most! Even though Anger may at times be Justified it is Almost Never Good! Whatever Our Situation, We decide if we Give Power when the Buttons are Pushed! We need to think about the Cost of Anger and focus on 2 things. Controlling Our Anger to Others and Dealing with Anger when it is received. They actually involve the same thing.... "Stop, Hold On, Stay In Control!" Ask yourself 3 questions. Why?, Stop and Think. What, do You Really Want? How, am I going to get it? The More we try and Control things the less we do... We always Lose when We Lose Our Temper...Look past Anger and to the Pain that is the Cause. Anger Control is greatly influenced of Mouth Control! This is Not Easy! Unfortunately, it is a constant struggle for me, but the more we can rely on Christ the better our chances. Breath, Give up Control, Pray, Love, Repeat... Wishing everyone a Great and less angry week!
