Good Morning. Lately, I have been hearing music way deeper than normal... Not sure why? I had a lot of windshield time this week so had even more time to Hear. Music is truly Powerful! It is said, Music increases blood flow to brain regions that generate and control emotions. When we hear music, the limbic system, responsible for handling emotions and memory, becomes active and actually "Lights Up". Well that is the science side of it... I just HEAR so much in some lyrics. I think the talent of so many song writers is amazing and a Gift from God... there is the other side too... there is some stuff out there I don't want to listen. With that being said, music is Loved by God and should be Loved by Us. This week, make an effort to listen more attentively, truly hearing and feeling the words...
I know, I can't be the only one. Who's holding on for dear life. But God knows, I know
When it's all said and done. I'm not okay. But it's all gonna be alright.
There'll be another in the fire Standing next to me. There was another in the waters
Holding back the seas And should I ever need reminding Of how I've been set free
There is a cross that bears the burden Where another died for me
Psalm 40:3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.
Proverbs 25:20 Whoever sings songs to a heavy heart is like one who takes off a garment on a cold day, and like vinegar on soda.
Ephesians 5:19 Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,
James 5:13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
