I hope everyone had a good week. Relatively uneventful here and it flew. Life is So about the Small Stuff. And Remember IT'S ALL Small Stuff. I went food shopping the other day... I do a some of my shopping at Aldi Markets... I think they are in 30 states so most people here are probably familiar with Aldi... I was amazed that they actually are less expensive... Unique thing about Aldi is its shopping cart setup. You have to insert a quarter to get your cart and when you come out you put the cart back and get a quarter back. Well I have been shopping there for about 2 years. I decided I would just leave my cart when I returned it and not take a quarter back. Those familiar with Aldi realize that means someone else will get the benefit of a free cart. I have gotten many side ways looks when I have given people carts and they tried to give me a quarter and I declined. Usually, I just leave it for someone to take... Well after 2 years I finally had someone actually run after me to Give me Their cart. It was a nice lady that just said make sure you pass it on! It actually made me pretty happy I had gotten a free cart, more importantly she was outwardly Very Happy she had given it to me! Remember IT"S ALL Small Stuff. We tend to make Mountains out of Molehills ALL the Time! In reality there are very FEW Mountains! I Realize it feel like it at times... But if we can slow down some we can realize That the Mountains we tend to Make will pass and work out and the Small Stuff that we Disregard are sometimes the important things. Do something Small this week for yourself and for someone else.... or a few someone else's. Have a Great Week!
Hebrews 13:8 ESV
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Mark 12:41-44
And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. 42 And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny.[a] 43 And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. 44 For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”
Luke 12:7 ESV
Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
