Lighten Up

GM, this week we are getting some advice from the legendary Sgt Hulka... If you're not familiar with him watch the movie, Stripes. LIGHTEN UP! There is No Doubt that All of Us fall into the trap of taking ourselves too seriously. Some struggle with this more than others, but we ALL experience this affliction. Ultimately, this originates from pride, and pride is considered a sin. We often get caught up worrying about life, work, other people,

how others perceive us and how we view ourselves. Natural I guess, but it can be a real trap!

Consider how much more fulfilling life is when you can learn to not take yourself so seriously. Lighten UP! Laugh at Yourself and Be Thankful. If you are struggling, you will be amazed how much this can help. Not always easy but sure is simple. Prayer for the week.
