Good Morning, Thankfully it looks like weather is starting to turn. Before we know it, we will be complaining it's too hot! Weekly Reflection: "What do You see when you look into the mirror?" No matter your response, there is undoubtedly Much More! We spend a lot of energy considering how others view us, or we dwell on what we think about ourselves. We are often our own harshest critic! Ultimately, our Sole concern should be what God thinks of us! The Truth is, He holds us in Higher Esteem than We or Anyone else could ever conceive! No matter where you are in your walk, We were All Created in Gods Image. This doesn't mean the color of your hair or the mole on your cheek. Being made in the likeness of God allows us to connect with Him and others, while also enabling us to utilize reason, intelligence, morality, creativity, rationality, and choice. Though not deserving, we are given the opportunity to be saved by Grace from everything we and others might perceive, including all we have done or will do. God wants More for Us than we can even Imagine for Ourselves! We will never achieve perfection, and we don't need to! This week, keep in mind whose image you are made in and strive to be a bit better! JITIY
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness."
Luke 10:27 And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
Romans 5:8 But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Romans 10:9 Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
