Good morning. Wow it is amazing summer is just about over.. It sure flew by... Over our last 2 weeks in Ocean City I had the opportunity to enjoy the daily flag raising several times. They do a great job everyday at 9am they raise the flag and play the National Anthem. By my count, there are normally a couple hundred people that stop, watch, reflect and respect Our flag and Country. Hearing Our National Anthem always gives me pause. I realize how lucky we are to live in This country! I am Thankful and truly believe we live in the greatest country in the world... (Even with all the screwed up situations and scenarios we currently have... thats a topic for another day.) Many if not most people have never seen the full lyrics. The star spangled banners ends with "In God is our trust," in the last verse. This is something I know most if not all of us struggle with.. Unfortunately I know I do.
