Good morning all... Pretty good week here leading into the weekend.... Friday was going great right up until I had a WHOLE pot of Coffee go ALL over the kitchen... I mean ALL over, I won't bore you with the details of exactly how it happened...But is was ALL Over... I would be lying if I said there wasn't a little bit of yelling... I took a Deep Breath, Cleaned up, Got Fresh Coffee, Righted the Ship and continued the day. Went to PC State Playoff baseball game... It was going well, they Won... As I am sitting there... by my self at this point... Game in hand... I feel this weird sensation On My Head... Yep, Bird Pooped right on my head... Some say that is a sign of Good Luck... I'm not sure about that but I did wipe my head off and Laugh at Myself and Continue my day... Not sure how I will find a bible verse about bird poop... Well this took me to Saturday. I went to a Celebration of Life for a very old and dear friends wife that had passed suddenly. I am so glad I went, first to support him and secondly I saw many Old Friends I had not seen.. some for a decade or more. Yesterday was a pretty gloomy day around here... I was wondering if the hard rain would hold off they were doing a dedication of a beautiful area which would be called of "Sue's Space". Well, If you have any doubt's about God... as soon as the crowd assembled for the dedication Out of the Gloom the Sun Burst through the clouds... God was there and is Everywhere! It was Beautiful and not unnoticed by Any! To recap my ramble today... You All have homework... Laugh at yourself! Get back to me about something that made you laugh at yourself. Reach out to an old friend... it will make them feel good and possibly make you feel even better. Commit a random act of kindness in Sue's honor... We should do this anyway but lets honor Sue and her memory in this way. Everyone have a Great week!
Matthew 6:25-27
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
